Q. How does The Princeton Review Guarantee work?

A. To use The Princeton Review Guarantee, you must meet the eligibility criteria outlined below. Not sure if you do? Don’t worry—we can help you figure it out. To speak with a representative, call 1-800-865-7737.

Q. Who is eligible for The Princeton Review Guarantee?

A. To be eligible for The Princeton Review Guarantee, you must be enrolled in a Princeton Review Eligible Program, which has been paid in full.

Q. How do I get my money back?

A. To qualify, you must attend all of your class sessions, take all of the assigned tests and do all of your homework.

You need to take the official test within 90 days after your class ends. If you’re an MCAT student, you need to take the official test within two testing windows from the end of your class.

Within 90 days of your last course session or, for self-paced students only, within 90 days of the termination of your Online Student Portal access, send us your official test score and fill out the form here .

If you qualify and your score did not improve, we’ll refund your tuition.

Q. If I’m not satisfied, how can I repeat my program?

A. Within 90 days of your last course session or, for self-paced students only, within 90 days of the termination of your Online Student Portal access, call 1-800-865-7737 or fill out the form here to arrange to repeat the program for free.

The program must be in the same test type as what you originally enrolled in and of an equal or lesser value. Add-on tutoring is not a repeat option.

You have one year from invoking your guarantee to repeat your program.

Q. Is there anything else I need to know?

A. Students can only use The Princeton Review Guarantee once per paid purchase. For example, if you choose to repeat the program, you will no longer be eligible for your money back.

If you’re enrolled in an MCAT course, you also must have enrolled in and completed the 21-hour Psychology and Sociology Online Module prior to taking the official test to be eligible to get your money back.

If you choose to get your money back, shipping charges are not refunded.

They are not eligible for a free repeat in their Comprehensive Tutoring Program if they are not satisfied. The 10-hour Private Tutoring Package is not eligible for the money back or tutor match guarantee.

SAT Subject Tests, AP, SSAT, SHSAT, ISEE, and TOEFL 18-hour Comprehensive Private Tutoring Packages: If you're not 100% satisfied with your tutor after the first session, we'll find you a better match—and you'll get another session, on us. These packages are not eligible for the money back guarantee.

Q. How do we determine if your score* improved?

A. At the beginning of your program, we’ll establish a baseline starting score that we will use to determine if your score improved.

Your starting score can be either:

  • Your official test score that was received no more than 90 days before the start of your first Princeton Review test prep program for the identical test; or
  • The score you receive on your first practice test in your test prep program with The Princeton Review that is for the identical test.

We’ll then compare your starting score to the score you received on the official test.

*For tests with scores by section or subject, the relevant “score” is the total or composite score over all sections of the exam, but excluding the essay/analytical writing section.

Q. If I repeat my program, do I get new prep materials?

A. New materials will not be provided with your repeat program. However, if you choose to prep with us again and would like new materials, the new book fees are below:
