The first step is admission. ASU has over 100 majors and concentrations to choose from. Discover what interests you, and start on your path of success!

Scholarships and financial aid are a great way to help pay for college! 9 out of 10 ASU students receive some form of financial aid. ASU aims to provide the best service possible to help you navigate your options!
There are more than 400 ASU scholarships offered every year. Almost 85% of students receive a grant and/or scholarship that range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars.
All (yes, all!) ASU applicants are automatically considered for the renewable Carr Academic Scholarship Program. Almost 40% percent of students receive a Carr Scholarship! The program is funded by a $130 million endowment, one of the largest endowments for a U.S. regional university.
The university also employs almost 800 students in part-time jobs on campus. Working as a student is an awesome opportunity to earn money and gain valuable work experience without even leaving ASU!

Students are greeted with open arms at Angelo State University. As a Hispanic Serving Institution, we pride ourselves on student engagement and support. We have a perfect mix of traditional and non-traditional students, and veterans thrive on campus. Students are not only involved in academic pursuits, but also take the time to get involved and serve the larger community.
We don't take student involvement lightly at Angelo State. Withmore than 100 registered student organizations, we feel confident that at least one willgrab your attention. We offer opportunities for involvement with the Student Government Association and Greek Life, as well as leadership development programs and community service projects. These organizations will help you develop friendships and leadership skills, broaden your world view and teach you how to work with others. Our student groups excel at what they do and receive numerous awards for excellence and community service.
Intramural programs at Angelo State University are some of the most active in the nation with 20 club and intramural teams. Intramural teams are not just regular competitors in the American Collegiate Intramural Sports National Championships in a variety of sports, but often the reigning champions.
Angelo State has 15 athletic teams that complete in NCAA Division II athletic events as members of the Lone Star Conference. As a student, you get free admission to any home sporting event with your student ID card. Whether you plan to be a player or a fan, get ready for some serious competition and lots of chances for cheering.

Angelo State University's 268 park-like acres of campus with groves of live oak, pecan and palm trees is situated in a residential neighborhood of San Angelo, the center of a West Texas community of more than 100,000 friendly people.
When you enroll at ASU, you'll not only find yourself immersed in campus life, but you'll become part of a community that supports and encourages its college students. San Angelo residents take pride in creating a distinctive community where people can engage in a number of outdoor activities, as well as enjoy shopping, restaurants and entertainment options. The city offers the amenities you would find in a large city with the convenience of a small town.

For all things exercise and club sports, you'll want to be at the Ben Kelley Center for Human Performance (CHP). The CHP has brand new cardio and weight machines, a bouldering wall and a 50-foot rock climbing tower!
The fun isn't just on campus! The ASU Lakehouse is the perfect retreat only a short distance away. You can enjoy the sun or even use kayaks and paddleboards for free.
