Babson College bases its acceptance of students on both academic and nonacademic factors. The academic factors include high school record, recommendations, standardized test scores, and essays. The nonacademic factors include extracurricular activities, demonstrated leadership, character/personal qualities, volunteer work, work experience, creativity and enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute to the Babson community in meaningful ways. Graduation from secondary school is required for admission. The most competitive students have taken approximately 5 solid academic courses per year at the highest available level (Honors, Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate). The SAT I or ACT is required for admission. The TOEFL or IELTS is required for students who are nonnative English speakers. Babson offers several application programs. Students may apply Early Decision (binding process), Early Action or Regular Decision. The deadline for Early Decision and Early Action is November 1. The Regular Decision Deadline is early January. Transfer students may apply for September entrance by March 15 and for January entrance by October 15.

Babson awards $43 million in undergraduate aid; $36 million comes directly from Babson in grants and scholarships. Approximately 50% of Babson's undergraduates receive financial assistance. Babson meets approximately 97% of students' demonstrated need. Babson commits to each student's level of Babson Grant for four years, provided there are no major changes to the family's financial circumstances or a change in the number of the student's siblings in college.
We require the FAFSA and the CSS Profile in order to be considered for Financial Aid. In addition to Financial Aid, we award many scholarships based on merit and other criteria.

115+ student clubs and organizations. Highlights include the Babson Dance Ensemble, Improv Troupe, Babson Fashion Group, Babson's Community of Developers & Entrepreneurs (CODE), and Investment Club. NCAA Division III Varsity Athletic Programs, 22 varsity sports-11 for men, 11 for women, club sports, and recreational programming. 21% of the student population participate in Greek Life.
