Hilbert College

Student life at Hilbert College centers around the eight buildings that surround the central "quad." These include Franciscan Hall, Bogel Hall, Hafner Recreation Center, the Campus Center, McGrath Library, the Residence Hall, and two new apartment-style complexes. lt;BRgt;lt;BRgt; Bogel Hall houses most of the school's academic offices and classroom space. In addition, the building houses a modern psychology research laboratory, an academic support center, several smart classrooms, modern computer labs, and a newly renovated lecture hall. Franciscan Hall was built in 1997, and is the College's signature building. Student and administrative services including admissions, student life, financial aid, student accounts, and student government are all residents of this facility. McGrath Library contains more than 33,000 volumes, is home to one of the largest private law collections in the area, and provides numerous periodical subscriptions and resources to Hilbert students in both traditional print and online formats. lt;BRgt;lt;BRgt; The Hafner Recreation Center, the Campus Center, and the Residence Halls cater to the students' extracurricular needs. The Hafner Center is the home of the Hilbert Hawk's athletic teams and comprised of a 1,200 seat gymnasium and fitness/work-out facilities. The Campus Center provides for the students' dining, counseling, security, and spiritual needs. The bookstore and student newspaper are also located in this facility. Our resident students have many living options. The Residence Hall is a co-educational facility and home to over 100 students of diverse backgrounds. This suite-style facility provides students with large rooms, 24-hour security, cable television, two recreational lounges, and a computer lab. In addition, two new apartment complexes provide established students with the freedom and privacy of private rooms, kitchen facilities, and shared common areas.
