Location
Park University is found in Parkville, Missouri, a small, suburban town that is only 12 miles from one of the region’s most up and coming urban areas, Kansas City, MO. Because of our location we offer a small, private and safe school with the benefits of a large urban district to experience culture, shopping, professional sports teams and so much more. Here on our beautiful home campus we offer over 700 acres of stunning landscape speckled with academic, athletic and residential facilities for all students. The Parkville campus enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduate students, representing students from all across the country and 105 countries. The student-to-faculty ratio is 12:1. Park's global annual enrollment exceeds 24,000 students.
Campus Facilities & Equipment
At Park University we strive to offer our students a home away from home so whether you are able to live on campus in our state-of-the-art Copley Quad or you commute each day we want you to feel comfortable. Because of this we have our Pirate Fitness Center for student use, a library, several computer labs, a variety of classrooms and small faculty to student ratios so you can actually meet with your instructor and not a graduate assistant. There are three residence halls available on campus: Chestnut, Dearing and Copley Quad. A thriving residence life program lets you live with your friends and create a living space that is uniquely yours. Our underground library located beneath the Parkville Daytime Campus Center contains approximately 155,000 volumes, over 1,000 periodicals and approximately 4,000 reels of microfilm. The library is electronically networked to several colleges, universities, and city libraries so that students have access to over 2,000,000 volumes. Off-Campus Opportunities
When you are a student here at Park University we make sure to offer an abundance of opportunities to get involved and stay busy on campus BUT for those who want to journey off and see the sights around town we know you will not be disappointed. Downtown Parkville, MO offers a multitude of restaurants from all different cultures and boutique style shops. Then if you head to downtown Kansas City, MO (just 10 minutes from campus) you can experience live music, shopping, an incredible art district, professional sports teams & tons of new events every week!
