As one of the nation's leading Catholic universities, Seton Hall provides over 90 rigorous academic programs that are highly ranked by The Princeton Review, U.S. News & World Report and Bloomberg Businessweek. We offer all the advantages of a large research university: challenging academic programs, notable alumni, state-of-the-art facilities, renowned faculty, extensive opportunities for internships, research and scholarships with all the benefits of a small, supportive and nurturing environment. Our 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio and average class size of 21 students means faculty know more than just your name.
Our accomplished faculty include Fulbright Scholars, prominent researchers, authors, artists, filmmakers, former school superintendents and principals, leaders in nursing, former ambassadors, analysts and lawmakers-all of whom are dedicated to their fields and their students. We have graduates that have pursued further studies at some of the nation's leading institutions, including Seton Hall, Harvard, Columbia, Yale, Princeton and Dartmouth. Each day, our faculty members shine in the lecture halls and on the national stage. We meet regularly with students outside the classroom and help them develop great minds.
Seton Hall offers more than 17,000 internship opportunities, and over 80 percent of our students have an internship or two on their resume before graduation, this is just one of the reasons our students have a 90% employment rate after graduation and mid-career earnings 50% higher than the national average. In fact, Seton Hall was recently ranked top 5 in the nation for providing internship opportunities. Our national reputation and stellar academic programs draw over 550 employers to campus each year just to recruit our graduates. Seton Hall has also been rated as one of the best schools for a return on your investment and for having the highest paid graduates for the investment and Forbes has rated Seton Hall one of America's Best Value Colleges.

Students Say
Professors are “usually experts [in] their fields” who “bring their experience into the classroom,” although some students note there are a handful of “weaker professors.” Accessibility is important to the faculty, and “if their office hours don’t work for you, they’ll come up with an alternate time or even give out their cell or suggest a Skype session.” There are also “plenty of opportunities to connect with peers and find the academic help that you need” via the Academic Resource Center (ARC) and the Writing Center.
