New York Institute of Technology offers more than 40 graduate and professional programs in the fields of architecture; business and management; communications and marketing; computer science, data, and cybersecurity; digital arts; education and counseling; energy and sustainability; engineering; health and medicine; and IT and digital technologies.
Programs and Curriculum
Research Opportunities: New York Tech faculty and students participate in research in fields such as medical and health (heart and kidney disease, anatomy, Parkinson's disease, and geriatrics), cybersecurity, robotics, biotechnology, educational technology, engineering, and artificial intelligence.
Graduate Assistantships: Graduate students may find graduate assistant positions in a research, teaching, or administrative setting providing partial or total tuition remissions in exchange for work on campus.

Our faculty scholars, scientists, professionals, and researchers engage students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them to graduate career-ready and prepared to make the work a better place. 94% of full-time faculty hold terminal degrees and receive prestigious grants and awards from the National Science Foundation, IDC Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and other prominent agencies to fund faculty and students scholarship and research.

There are 3,168 graduate and professional students at New York Institute of Technology's campuses in New York City and Long Island. Students get hands-on in their programs in all areas of study. Some examples include traveling abroad to find architectural solutions to redevelopment issues, producing content for non-profit organizations in our student-run ad agency, production company, and media enterprise (The Carleton Group, ProdCo, and GLobesville, respectively), and participating in business competitions, including the Broadridge Challenge, Fed Challenge, and International Workshops.
