From the School

Western New England University School of Law is an ABA-accredited law school located in the up-and-coming city of Springfield, Massachusetts. It is the only law school in Massachusetts located west of the Boston area, giving our students a monopoly on many legal externship opportunities.

Founded in 1919, the School of Law was originally part of Northeastern University. The school received an autonomous charter in 1951 and became Western New England College, and later, in 2011, Western New England University. Throughout this time, the law school has maintained a strong focus on experiential learning and public service.
