From the School

Founded in 1978, Ross University School of Medicine offers an MD degree program administered by a faculty whose primary responsibility is teaching. The systems-based curriculum is designed to enable students to acquire and master basic sciences concepts and prepare to integrate knowledge of these concepts into clinical care. In January 2019, Ross opened its new Medical Sciences Campus in Bridgetown, Barbados. Clinical rotations are completed at affiliated US teaching hospitals. RUSM has an alumni network of over 14,700 MDs across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. 669 Current and former Ross graduates attained residencies in 2019 in 24 disciplines. RUSM is eligible to participate in the US Federal Direct Loan Program and offers scholarships for students who qualify.
