Transportation

Types of Transportation Available to Campus
Philadelphia International Airport and Lehigh Valley International Airport are both within an hour of Campus. Van and limousine services and rental cars are available for a trip from the airports to campus. Amtrak trains and Greyhound busses operate into Philadelphia. From these stations, the SEPTA regional rail-line, the R5, stops at the Gwynedd Valley station. A school-operated shuttle has pick up and drop off service to the campus from the train station.

Driving Instructions to Campus
From the Schuylkill Expressway: From the Schuylkill Expressway follow 476 North to signs for Pennsylvania Turnpike. Follow turnpike East to New Jersey. Exit 26 Ambler/ Fort Washington. Follow signs for Route 309 North, exit at Spring House/Norristown Road. Turn left at light onto Norristown Road. Drive 2 miles straight ahead to the college on the right. From the Pennsylvania Turnpike: Take PA Turnpike to Exit 26 (Fort Washington.) Exit at Springhouse, Norristown Road. Turn left at light onto Norristown Road. Drive 2 miles straight ahead to college on the right. From Route 309 North: Exit at Springhouse, Norristown Road. Turn left at light onto Norristown Road. Drive 2 miles straight ahead to college on the right. (Don't be concerned about the name change: Norristown Road becomes Sumneytown Pike after crossing over Bethlehem Pike at the Spring House intersection.)

Local Accommodations
The Best Western Montgomeryville (Route 309 and Stump Road; Montgomeryville, PA; 215-699-8800) is located three miles from campus and contains 62 rooms with a restaurant and complimentary breakfast. The Best Western of Fort Washington (285 Commerce Drive; Fort Washington, PA; 215-542-7930) is a 104-room facility with a Palace of Asia restaurant and Subway sandwich shop. It is 4.5 miles from the College. Just four miles from the college is the Holiday Inn of Fort Washington (432 Pennsylvania Avenue; Fort Washington, PA; 215-643-3000). The 224-room hotel includes a restaurant and fitness center. All hotels are moderate in price. The Doubletree Guest Suites (640 West Germantown Pike; Plymouth Meeting, PA; 610-834-8300) is just under 5 miles from the college and is slightly more expensive then the previous establisments. A fitness center and restaurant highlight this 252-room hotel, which is just five miles from historical Valley Forge and King of Prussia points of interest.
