Admissions Requirements
As a private institution, no preference is given to Missouri residents, and almost all states are represented in the student body. Course requirements are Biology (8 semester hours); Chemistry (8 hours); Organic Chemistry (8 hours); Physics (8 hours); and English (6 hours). To be considered for admission, applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.8 in both the sciences and overall. The MCAT is required and scores must be no more than three years old. About 15 percent of AACOMAS applicants are interviewed, with interviews consisting of three sessions with faculty and/or administrators as well as an admissions staff member. Financial aid, both merit- and need-based, is available in the form of grants and loans.
