Required courses are Biology (one year); General Chemistry (one year); Organic Chemistry (one year); Physics (one year); college-level Math (one year), and English (one year). All science courses must include associated labs. Grades are assessed with consideration given to academic improvement, balance and depth of academic program, difficulty of courses taken, and overall achievement. The MCAT is required, and scores must be from within the past two years. Applicants who have taken the exam on multiple occasions are not penalized, but the most recent set of scores is weighed most heavily.
